Our Mission

St. Gregory the Great Parish, a large and diverse Faith Community, affirms the presence of Christ in the Eucharist and among usWe sustain our vitality through shared experiences of liturgy, sacrament, prayer, and service.

We dedicate ourselves to being a vital part of the Church in the Diocese of Buffalo by maintaining and expanding our:

  • Spiritual focus
  • Knowledge and understanding of our Faith and our Church
  • Spirit of welcome and reconciliation
  • Generous sharing of our God-given talents and resources
  • Compassion and concern for those in need

Our History

The story of the parish is more than an account of a place, a building, a property, and how it was transformed. It is a story of the people of God forming a community of worship and service.

From a field with unused barns, a farmhouse, an open-air Mass, and the vision and generosity of a bishop, a pastor, and the people working together, St. Gregory the Great Parish emerged.

Signs of faith

There are so many ways to live the Faith at St. Greg’s: from praying the Rosary in the Grotto to spending time in our Adoration Chapel; from singing Gregorian chant to Christian contemporary music; from collecting canned goods for the SVdP Food Pantry to taking a mission trip to Jamaica.

We have vibrant groups for all ages and stages of life and for many varied interests. We are called to be the fullness of the Church in this place, and we are stronger because of each person who has joined us.  Join St. Gregory the Great.
